my whipped shea butter mix |
300mls shea butter.
80mls aloe vera gel.
60mls rose water.
40mls pure coconut oil.
20mls jamaican black castor oil.
20mls extra virgin olive oil.
20drops vitamin E
10drops tea tree oil.
method
softened the shea butter using a handheld mixer for 15minutes and added in the rest of the ingredients and mixed further for another 15minutes till mixture was fluffy.
uses.
I personally use this as a cream on my hair strands to moisturise my hair when it feels dry.
On wash day,i use it as the Cream part in the LCO method.for those who dont know what the LCOmethod is,it a method of moisturising your hair and locking in that moisture.The letters simply stands for L-liquid or leave in,C is cream and O is oil.
You can also use this mixture for your scalp to help soothe scalp,prevent dandruff and promote hair growth.

6.jamaican black castor oil-helps in hair growth and thickness.its also a great sealant.
7.extra virgin olive oil-nourishes,conditions and improves hair strength and elasticity.
8.tea tree oil-promotes hair growth,prevents hair loss,treats dandruff and dry itchy scalp.
